Fiona Kerr, Jewellery

Fiona combines iridescent black pearls, strings of tiny garnets, moonstone and topaz with precious metals to stunning effect. The primary themes in her work are light, colour and movement. In many of her pieces there is a discreet kinetic element – perhaps, a gently sliding jewel – which significantly adds to the wearer’s enjoyment. Nature and geometry are key influences.

She says, “I am fascinated how natural things, which at first appear to be chaotic are organised and full of structure.”
