Hawthorne Crafts is a high-end box making business which creates finely crafted boxes to commission. The company is run by Ian Hawthorne, a self-taught box maker, trained in French Polishing by Andrew Crawford,a leading UK box maker.
The business tailors its products to customer requirements including wood type, size, hardware, lining/and finishing. Native woods are used whenever possible and plastics and exotic woods incorporated as accents to give an Art Deco feel.
