Jill Graham
Jill Graham trained at Loughborough University School of Art and Design and graduated in Silversmithing and Jewellery in 2002. Acquiring valuable skills in laser welding during her subsequent apprenticeship to a goldsmith, she successfully set up her own business in 2003.
While respectful of traditional methods, she mainly employs modern machinery and equipment to speed up production. Working primarily in precious metals, Jill explores delicate, layered wire structures and roll-printing; containment and movement are recurrent themes.
My sources of inspiration come from organic structures and elements of plant life, she says. Jills range includes neckpieces, brooches, earrings, bangles and rings. She works mainly to private commission and sells through craft fairs and shows as well as selected retail outlets.
