Art, Craft and Design INSET Days

INSET Days 2011/12 at the Institute of Education in London is a unique opportunity to meet and be inspired by some of the UK's leading makers including Lin Cheung, Stephen Dixon, Michael Brennand-Wood and Helen Carnac.

Learn new skills, explore curriculum themes, develop new schemes of work.

This is a unique opportunity to meet and be inspired by some of the UK's leading artists, designers and makers. Hear about their work, their ideas... how their practice could lead to new approaches to teaching and learning within art & design and design technology.


Skills in The Making raising attainment through art, craft and design.
This programme provides an ongoing resource of value to trainees, teachers, mentors, researchers, professionals and students of contemporary art, craft and design.

Places are limited. Cost: £90 (per individual per day for schools)
Concessions: £45 (for PGCE Trainees & self-funded individuals)
Times: 10am- 4pm  (Please bring your own lunch)
