European Basketmaking celebrates the diversity of the discipline today. It features work by leading basket makers in materials ranging from wire to willow and includes both contemporary sculptural work and traditional techniques.

This exhibition was produced by the National Craft Gallery of Ireland in 2007. It is curated by practitioners Joe Hogan and Mary Butcher. A smaller display of European baskets will also be exhibited at the Ulster American Folk Park in Omagh.
