Born in Coleraine in 1948, Jack studied ceramics at the Ulster College of Art and Design. Curated by Marta Donaghey, Contemporary Ceramics London, this exhibition in Belfast is a showcase for a new body of work.

As part of August Craft Month, ceramicist John McKeag will host a workshop inspired by Jack Doherty’s functional pottery. The pieces will be made during the workshop, fired off-site and available to collect a week later. Materials provided.

As part of Craft Month, artist Jim Russell will host a workshop creating willow sculptured lanterns, perfect for summer garden decorations.
