Craft NI gallery receives record numbers for Culture Night Belfast 2010

Over 1,000 people visited Craft NI's gallery as part of Culture Night Belfast on 24 September to preview an exhibition of glass and ceramics by Rachel Dickson and Alison Lowry.
The exhibition, entitled ‘Vessels of Memory’ featured new works in glass and ceramics by emerging designer-makers Rachel Dickson & Alison Lowry. Throughout the evening Alison and Rachel gave visitors a fascinating insight into their inspirations and the processes embodied in their work.
Overall, it is estimated that 15,000 visitors strolled through the streets and venues of the Cathedral Quarter of Belfast as dozens of public areas, streets, and buildings were transformed for the second Culture Night Belfast.
Culture Night is an opportunity to explore the breadth and depth of Belfast’s culture, to tap into the activities you love and also to try something new.
