Derry-Londonderry named UK City of Culture

After months of campaigning and anticipation the news that the Derry bid as city of culture triumphed over Birmingham, Norwich and Sheffield was very welcome.
The City of Culture title is designed to help areas boost their economy through tourism and the creative industries, as well as promoting regeneration. For more information click here.
