NI Jeweller Fiona Kerr exhibits at MADE

This winter one of Northern Ireland's most prominent jewellers, Fiona Kerr, will exhibit at Yorkshire Sculpture Park alongside other talented UK and International makers.
Fiona Kerr, who gained her degree from Buckinghamshire Chiltern University College, has developed specialist skills in stone setting and gemology. Fiona set up her craft business in 2002.
Fiona's distinctive style draws its inspiration from light, colour and movement. Her work combines iridescent black pearls, strings of tiny garnets, moonstone and topaz with precious metals to stunning effect.
As Fiona explains, “I am fascinated how natural things, which at first appear to be chaotic are organised and full of structure.”
"The primary themes in my work are light, colour and movement. In many of my pieces there is a discreet kinetic element – perhaps, a gently sliding jewel – which significantly adds to the wearer’s enjoyment".
Fiona will exhibit her designs at MADE alongside UK and international makers including Holly Ross and Katie Heeks.
MADE presents an opportunity to purchase unique handcrafted gifts. The Arts Council’s Own Art scheme is available on all products from MADE priced between £100-£2,000.
