The aim of the competition is to recognise and promote the wealth of young talent, creativity and imagination in jewellery design that exists across the UK and Ireland, by offering a showcase for their artistry.

Entries need only be renderings / drawings of either a costume piece / collection or silver piece. All designs must be new and original and can never have won any previous competition or never be / have been sold in any other jewellery retailer. Each entry must be accompanied by a description of the design and materials used.

The prize is £500 and the design may be manufactured by Argento.The winning design will remain the property of Argento. The winner of the competition will be promoted in all marketing materials regarding the design, however all proceeds of sales of the jewellery will remain wholly with Argento.

The deadline is 16 December 2011.
