Craft NI’s Business Development Programme Seminar 2 – ‘Developing Ranges/Services and Exploring Markets’ – with guest speaker Matthew Maran (photographer) will be held on the 29th March 2012, 10.30am-1pm at Down Arts Centre.

Craft NI's Business Development Programme 2012 – 2013 got off to an excellent start in January with a fantastic turnout of makers for the first seminar which was held at the University of Ulster. This programme, which is funded by Invest Northern Ireland as part of the making it 2011 programme, is being delivered by Dr Rachel Smart and seminars are open to all interested makers.

Seminars are charged at £25 each offering excellent value for money and allowing many makers to benefit from Rachel’s expertise and also that of guest speakers, the first of which will be Photographer Matthew Maran.

Seminar 2 – Developing Ranges/Services and Exploring Markets

Objectives:
•    Critically evaluate your work
•    See your work from a customer’s perspective
•    Understand the tools required to show your work for exhibition and sale
•    Push your work to research and develop new pieces for the gaps and match this to markets.

Date: Thursday 29th March 2012
Time: 10.30am – 1pm. Followed by lunch/networking from 1pm (lunch optional - £5).
