Funding for Creative and Digital Internships
University of the Arts London’s (UAL) Creative Careers department are running a graduate internship programme aimed at supporting small creative businesses and recent creative graduates. The Higher Education Funding
Council (HEFCE) is providing £13.6 million for universities who have made successful bids to manage 8,500 internships within the Government priority sectors. The scheme aims to provide real-life, meaningful, paid work experience which benefits both employer and graduate.
Running until September 2010, we have secured funding for 100 internships. The UAL Creative Graduate Internship Programme offers a £100 per week subsidy towards paying a recent graduate at least National Minimum Wage for an 8 or 12 week full time internship.
Therefore if you are an employer with 50 employees or less and are looking for a cost effective way to move your business forward by recruiting an intern, please contact Mavi Tikotkar the Creative Graduate Internship Programme Co-ordinator on 020 7514 6267 or email.(JavaScript must be enabled to view this email address)
