Mid Pennine Arts would like to commission an artist to produce a permanent sculptural piece for the new Greenway created on a derelict Padiham railway line.
The selected artist will be asked to produce a sculpture which will reflect the history of the site and enhance the identity and positive future of the area.
A budget of £5,000 is available to cover artist fees, materials and installation and all other project costs. Installation will take place before the end of March 2011.
