The objective of the Biennial International Ceramics Competition of Marratxí is to promote and support the creation of both artistic and traditional ceramics. This biennial competition is being set in motion with the intention of lending international renown to the name of Marratxí as a municipality with a long tradition in ceramics, and one committed to quality, innovation and art in ceramics as a way of defining a cultural, and a future, identity.
