Module 4: Creative Selling - Craft NI Business Support

Selling is a key activity of all businesses. Guest speakers for module 4 of Craft NI’s business support day are Angela Mann and Anne-Marie Franey, organisers of the Great Northern Contemporary Craft Fair, who will help designer-makers to develop their selling techniques.

Module 4: Creative Selling - 9.30-3.30pm, 22 September 2010 / Lough Neagh Discovery Centre, Oxford Island, Co. Armagh

Craft fairs and trade fairs are important means of growing your craft business. In order to access and develop relationships with retailer, attendance at trade fair is a must. This module is designed to identify what you can do to identify and prepare for appropriate trade fairs.

Craft NI's business consultant, Francis Verling, will be joined by Angela Mann and Ann-Marie Franey, the Directors of Great Northern Events Ltd and the organisers of the Great Northern Contemporary Craft Fair. The Fair now in its third year is a selected selling event with 150+ designer-makers and an expected 8000+ visitors in 2010. View some good images from last year's fair at Morgeous Blog

This one-day workshop consists of tailored business training, a presentation by the guest speakers and a Q&A session.  Designer-makers can also avail of one-to-one discussions with Angela and Anne-Marie in the early afternoon.
