Exhibition Opportunity – NI/ROI exhibition in Belgium
NI ceramicists, woodturners and craftspeople are invited to apply to join Weaving Works network from Cork for an exhibition in a large cultural centre near Brussels in 2010. The invitation to four weavers in Weaving Works is being extended to include other artists/craftspeople working in complimentary mediums from all parts of Ireland including Northern Ireland.

It is envisaged that there will be twelve exhibitors in all, forming a new all-Ireland network. On the Belgian side the venue, promotion, and funding are already in place. On the Irish side the project is at an early stage of development and funding is being actively sought. The exhibition will be a central attraction as part of an Irish week, with other cultural events taking place such as music, dancing and food tasting.
