Call for Makers23rd July 2010 - 30th July 2010

Tourism Ireland is currently inviting designer-makers to register their interest in this opportunity to sell their work as part of the exhibition. The deadline has been extended to Friday 30 July.

From 23 – 30 September 2010, Tourism Ireland is taking over the 12,000 sq foot Vanderbilt Hall in New York’s Grand Central Station to celebrate the best of Northern Ireland’s music, festivals, craft, heritage and food. Over 500,000 commuters pass through on a daily basis.

Tourism Ireland is currently inviting designer-makers to register their interest in this opportunity to sell their work as part of the exhibition. Tourism Ireland has now arranged for craft exhibitors to sell their work without a fee. The original fee was £200.

Representatives will need to cover their own flight and accommodation costs. Any favourable terms that Tourism Ireland negotiates for flights and accommodation will be passed on to assist representatives.

Designer-makers interested in providing a demonstration of their work may be able to avail of additional support.

Expressions of interest must be received by 4pm on Friday, 23 July 2010.
