The survey will be carried out by phone and will start on 19 May 2011. BOP Consulting will be contacting designer-makers, craft businesses, curators, educators, retailers and exhibitors across the UK, including Northern Ireland, to collect accurate information about the people and organisations involved in the craft industry. This will help to build an up-to-date picture of the sector which will in turn be used to make a robust case for craft to the governments of the four UK nations.
