August Craft Month Annual Exhibition ‘Re-New’
Annual August Craft Month Exhibition at the Craft NI Gallery.
We want to celebrate a sense of renewal for our August Craft Month Exhibition. Craft makers were asked to reflect on the theme ‘Re-new’. Submitted work is:
- directly inspired by the theme itself;
- work taking the makers craft practice in a new direction; or
- existing work the makers would like to showcase as part of our reopening, renewal celebration.
All work has been made within the last two years. Prize winners will be announced during August, stay tuned.
Craft NI Gallery
115 – 119 Royal Avenue

To ensure the exhibition reaches the widest possible audience, we are delighted to announce that all work chosen for the exhibition will be viewable online on our website’s upcoming dedicated exhibitions section. All the pieces will be photographed and available digitally as a series of 360’ rotational images. Some of the work is available for sale in our Craft NI Gallery as usual as well as directly from our website.
Once the exhibition is open images can be found here
Craft NI is indebted to the former NI Guild of Designer Craftmakers for their donation of funds to be used in recognition of the work and talent of Northern Ireland makers (emerging and established) through Guild Prizes, as part of our annual August Craft Month exhibition.
All visitors to the Gallery must wear a face mask, sanitiser stations are available, numbers to the Gallery are restricted and a one-way system is in place.
