Pomeroy Woollen Woods

The Woollen Woods is an outdoor art installation, which is bringing art and nature together in the Pomeroy area, On display will be all sorts of knitted, crocheted or felted items, tying in with this year’s theme of bees, butterflies and blooms. Over the past year the local community has been hard at work making items for this Woollen ‘Wonderland’.

This activity is funded courtesy of the Connecting Pomeroy project, a project funded by the European Union’s PEACE IV Programme, managed by the Special EU Programmes Body (SEUPB) and led by Mid Ulster District Council.

The Pomeroy Woollen Woods display will run from Saturday 21st August to Wednesday 1st September 2021. The Woollen Woods trail is located in the forest near the car park, at the courtyard in Pomeroy Forest.
