Sculpting a Horse Head from Clay Day 2 at Gransha Equestrian Centre
Following on from Sculpting a Horse Head from Clay where participants will learn how to sculpt a horse’s head from clay at Gransha Equestrian Centre, this session will demonstrate how to decorate with underglaze and oxides once fired.
The first session will begin with a brief description of the anatomy of the horse head and neck, followed by a visit to the stables to feel for those bones and muscles, then back to the workshop to start work on your sculpture, a template will be provided for beginners.
The final session on Monday 22nd August will be used to decorate your fired sculpture.
