A number of awards have been released by Cockpit. These awards all include subsidised studio space, business support and community membership. A few available awards and bursaries are listed below, please click on the links to learn more.
- Harriet’s Trust Award is an award for a maker working in any craft discipline with a commitment to high quality craftsmanship. The Trust Award offers up to three years of business support and subsidised studio space at Cockpit.

- The Dyers’ Company Award is a one-year award for a Maker that uses dyes or colourants in the course of their work, this may be at any stage in the process. The award will help the successful awardee by providing the space and time to develop their business, gain confidence and develop their profile.

- The Broderers’ Award is for a maker that has technical skills in hand embroidery and wishes to develop these within a business setting. This award will help the awardee by providing the space and time to develop their business, gain confidence and develop their profile.

- The Feltmakers’ Award is for milliners who are seeking business development support and can demonstrate entrepreneurial spirit and essential craft skills. Felt does not necessarily need to be an essential ingredient.
