Craft NI are delighted to advertise the following vacancies:

 

Craft Development Officer

 

This is a key post in a small team which is dedicated to the development and promotion of Northern Ireland’s vibrant craft and applied arts sector. The Development Officer will have a varied role, responsive to the needs of the sector and working with partners to deliver for makers. You will be involved in developing new initiatives, from commissioning or delivering training, working with a venue or location to develop their craft offering or to supporting and signposting makers with specific queries. August Craft Month will be a key point in your diary. You’ll be curious, a problem-solver and happy to research.

Gallery Manager

 

The Gallery Manager leads Craft NI’s Gallery in Belfast city centre, creating a welcoming and vibrant craft destination. You’ll oversee the smooth running of the Gallery combining efficient administration with creative sales strategies for the physical and online shops; showcasing talent in the Northern Ireland craft sector and facilitating exhibitions. This public-facing role provides an important first impression of Craft NI Gallery and the whole organisation.

Gallery Assistants (Seasonal)

 

The period up to Christmas is our busiest and to ensure we can provide the best experience for people wishing to buy work in our Gallery, we wish to recruit Gallery Assistants on a part-time basis for the October-December period. Gallery Assistants should provide a warm and welcoming environment to visitors, excellent customer service, ensuring that all customers leave with a positive experience. You’ll deal directly with craft makers through accepting deliveries of new work, pricing displaying, selling and stock management.
