Curators Consultation

29 September 2021

Deadline: October 25, 2021

The Crafts Council is currently undertaking a consultation towards the development of the future programme of support and opportunities for curators and curatorial field, engaged with craft; to initiate a curatorial community to champion ideas of social justice and environmental responsibility, innovation and invention, and the social role of craft and making for wider society.

Annabelle Campbell, Crafts Council Curator, Creative Partnerships and Programmes, is exploring the idea of a national collaborative, co-operative community network for curators. She has created a survey to explore the needs and requirements of curators working with and across craft themes, issues, collections, objects, and the expanded fields of craft, related curatorial practice and research.

This survey invites the views of craft curators on the need for such a community and what would help and support you and wider curatorial field of practice.

Deadline 25 October, you can find further information and the survey here.
