DESCRIPTION:Craft NI is delighted to host a special webinar as part of the Contemporary British Silversmiths exhibition\, A Thirst for Silver. \nA Thirst for Silver runs at Craft NI Gallery\, Belfast from September 3 to October 31\, 2026. The exhibition showcases the work of fifty members of Contemporary British Silversmiths\, bringing together makers at every stage of their careers – from recent graduates to internationally recognised master silversmiths. It reflects the breadth\, diversity and vitality of contemporary silversmithing across the UK. \nJoin Katherine McDonald in conversation with Cara Murphy\, Richard Fox\, Rauni Higson\, Ben Ryan\, Jessica Jue and Morvarid Alavifard for an insightful discussion exploring the exhibition\, their individual practices and the vibrant world of contemporary silversmithing. \nThis is an opportunity to hear directly from leading contemporary silversmiths about their work\, inspirations and approaches to the craft.

DESCRIPTION: Knit + Stitch returns to Belfast this fall from November 12 -15!  Taking place at the Eikon Exhibition Centre in Lisburn\, this is an event textile lovers will not want to miss\, whether they are professional craft makers or hobbyists! \nThe show\, previously known as The Knitting and Stitching Show\,  has had a rebrand and has a new logo and name\, but visitors can expect the same inspiring content: textile art exhibitions\, hands-on workshops and opportunities to buy from over 100 craft exhibitors.
