DESCRIPTION:This one day workshop is an introduction to the traditional craft of woodcarving. The tutor\, Geoff Tulip\, is an innovative woodturner and woodcarver. He will guide participants throughout the day\, explaining and demonstrating simple techniques in relief carving. Each attendee will learn how to create their own hand-carved piece to take home. \nAll tools and wood are provided for the duration of the workshop\, and the day is suitable for absolute beginners.
