DESCRIPTION: Knit + Stitch returns to Belfast this fall from November 12 -15!  Taking place at the Eikon Exhibition Centre in Lisburn\, this is an event textile lovers will not want to miss\, whether they are professional craft makers or hobbyists! \nThe show\, previously known as The Knitting and Stitching Show\,  has had a rebrand and has a new logo and name\, but visitors can expect the same inspiring content: textile art exhibitions\, hands-on workshops and opportunities to buy from over 100 craft exhibitors. SUMMARY:Festive Botanical Printing
DESCRIPTION:In this workshop participants will explore the process of mono-printing using seasonal foliage to create a selection of hand-printed designs. Tutor Ruth Osborne will introduce the techniques of applying inks and paints to foliage to create natural linen artworks. \n\nParticipants will also learn about some of the folklore of the foliage used and its links to the celebration of the festive season. Participants will have the opportunity to create a range of pieces during the session that they can frame or turn into beautiful cards and gift tags. \n\nThis is a workshop suitable for beginners and all materials are provided. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n
