Open Call for makers; Timpeallacht Exhibition

Kilcoe Studios have released an open call for submissions to forthcoming exhibition, Timpeallacht. Artists and practitioners based in Ireland, working with locally sourced natural materials are eligible to apply.
Timpeallacht (Surroundings / Environment), is a collaborative exhibition presented by Kilcoe Studios and Skibbereen Arts Festival. This exhibition will run across two venues, as part of the Skibbereen Arts festival (end of July) and then in Kilcoe Studios, Ballydehob throughout August.
Some examples of the work they’re looking for include;
Textile dyeing / Spinning / Weaving / Embroidery / Knitting / plant fibres from native sources
Home made ink making
Wood work of all types
Local clay for ceramics
Weaving and basketry using any cultivated or wild plant material
Straw craft
The work proposed does not need to be exclusively from local materials, but it must be the primary medium of the work and process. For more information about this opportunity and application guidelines please see the Kilcoe Studios website.

200 words max about yourself and your work.

Approx dimensions of the work proposed and the quantity you propose to send. Quantity selected will depend on the scale of the work, final decisions will be the curators.
