Open Call: Materials, Messages and Meanings, Sustainability

An open call has been released for artists and makers whos work responds to the theme: Sustainability. Now in its 11th year, this group exhibition will explore artists’ and makers’ different approaches to the materials they choose to work with and why; the messages and meaning they wish to convey using those materials; what those messages are, and the methods of production and process they use to make the work.
Who can apply?
This opportunity is open to makers based in Northern Ireland, working in any media, at any stage of their career. Successful applicants will exhibit their work and also take part in an artist’s talk for which they will be paid.
Theme:
Work must respond to the theme: Sustainability.
Application:
Please send through a short CV and explanation of your practice, no longer than one side of A4, and how your work fits in with the theme of sustainability. Please include 4 high resolution images of your work.
Note:
- Artists must be free to give a short talk about their work on Saturday 5th November 2022.
- Images must be in jpeg / png / pdf format and documents in Word or PDF.
- Any high-resolution images can be sent via Google docs link / Dropbox / WeTransfer.
- Include dimensions and details of media used to Robert at rspace@linenroomslisburn.com
