This pilot programme promoting Support for Artist Studios and Maker Spaces, is part of the city’s on-going commitment to cultural recovery in the context of the pandemic and the on-going A City Imagining cultural investment programme for Belfast.

Grants of up to £15,000 are available if you run a space where groups of artists and makers come together to work and develop their practice. A small number of larger grants may be considered on the basis of need and scale.

If you’re interested in pursuing this opportunity, email culture@belfastcity.gov.uk for guidance notes and application form.

Important information session:

An information session will take place on Friday 20 May at 2pm, contact culture@belfastcity.gov.uk to join. After the session you can request an advice meeting with an officer to discuss the grant.

The closing date is 12 noon on Tuesday 31 May 2022.

This will be a pilot rolling programme with deadlines to be set according to demand and availability of resources.
