The Cockpit Awards

A number of awards have been released by Cockpit. These awards all include subsidised studio space, business support and community membership. A few available awards and bursaries are listed below, please click on the links to learn more.

Clothworkers’ award: Designed to help three graduate weavers each year set up in business. Weavers can be working in any form, e.g., making products, creating woven textile art, working with mills and/or making samples for industry.

Deadline, Monday 25th April.

Leathersellers’ Award; Available for makers working in leather who are looking to take their business to the next level.

Deadline, Monday 25th April.

The Turners Award; An award for emerging or established turners alike working on a lathe in wood or other materials.
