University of Atypical invites visual artists to apply for an exciting Green Open Call Opportunity, for a solo exhibition in the Atypical Gallery. They are looking for an artist whose work connects with issues affecting our climate, environment, and creating a sustainable future.

The University of Atypical gallery hosts exhibitions and events that support the work of d/Deaf, disabled and neurodivergent artists based in Northern Ireland. The programme runs throughout the year, and showcases work of artists working in diverse media, themes and styles.

 

This call is open to artists who identify as d/Deaf, disabled, or neurodivergent.

The artist who is selected will:

  • receive a fee of £900.
  • present a body of work for a solo exhibition in the Atypical Gallery.
  • present a gallery talk about their work.

The exhibition will take place in the Atypical Gallery from 6 November 2025 until 17 December 2025.
