SKILL UP Programme

Up to 7,000 free spaces are available on a range of free accredited courses until end of June 2023 to support NI residents, aged 18 and over  who have a desire to re-train and re-skill. More opportunities are to follow in the next few years.

Through SKILL UP – the flexible skills programme, most courses will be delivered online. Opportunities are available from entry to postgraduate levels, focussing on skills identified by industry, linked to priority economic sectors, including:

  • Digital skills
  • Green technologies
  • Healthcare and life sciences
  • Advanced manufacturing
  • Leadership and management

This programme is supported by the Department for the Economy, with funding from the Northern Ireland Office and the Department of Finance, delivered by local HE providers.
