Hand Stencilled Fabric with Gina Pierce
About the event
Come along to the Island Arts Centre and join Gina Pierce as she introduces participants to the process of hand stencilling a tea towel.
Gina has been designing and producing collections for hand and digital print fabric, accessories, wallpaper and other products for many years. During this workshop, Gina will demonstrate techniques and show examples of previously decorated tea towels, along with patterns inspired by the archive fabrics of Tapestry Weavers (Ulster) and Henry Nathan.
Using the stencils and dyes provided, participants will create their own designs on a tea towel to take home.
