About the event
The Linen Biennale Northern Ireland returns for a second year in 2023 with a full programme of events, initiatives, and community outreach projects that will celebrate the heritage, and future, of linen and flax on this Island.
Come along to the R-Space Gallery on Friday 28th July to celebrate the Launch of the Linen Biennale 2023! The programme will launch with the dual exhibition openings of Common Threads at the Island Arts Centre from 3-5pm and Connected Emotions at R-Space from 5-8pm.

The Linen Biennale is an initiative of R-Space Gallery. The 2023 event is supported by The National Lottery Heritage Fund, made possible by money raised by National Lottery players. This event is a part of August Craft Month held in collaboration with Design & Crafts Council Ireland and Cork Craft & Design. 2023 will mark the 17th annual August Craft Month in NI with makers all across the island of Ireland getting involved.
