Stitches and Stories with Heather Richardson
About the event
Come along to the Island Arts Centre and join Heather Richardson in this practical workshop where you will create your own stitched ‘pocket amulet’ – the perfect place to secure little treasures and keepsakes.
Sewing together can be a great way to share thoughts, influences and styles as well as stitches. Using stitch is a lovely way to tell a story, you can make your piece truly unique by incorporating your own ideas and perhaps memories.
