Creative Networking Event – Arts, Activism and Disability: Marking International Day of Social Justice
12 February 2026
Deadline: February 20, 2026
Join University of Atypical for Arts and Disability for a welcoming and thought-provoking creative networking event exploring the powerful role of activism within the arts and disability sector.
This event brings together d/Deaf, disabled and neurodivergent artists to connect, share ideas, and reflect on how artistic practice can challenge injustice, navigate conflict, and drive social change.
Enjoy coffee and pastries while listening to a panel discussion with artists working across different artforms. The conversation will explore representation, lived experience, activism within creative practice, and the arts as a tool for change.
Following the panel, there will be time for questions, discussion, and informal networking—an opportunity to skill share, make connections, and meet other artists working in the arts and disability sector.
