An Evening with Connie Baker-Horne

Join embroidery artist, Connie Baker-Horne, as she shares her experience taking part in the BBC1 series Make it at Market. Connie was scouted to take part in series 3 of the popular programme hosted by The Repair Shop’s Dominic Chinea in 2024.

 

Make it at Market provides 12 weeks of business mentoring to craft hobbyists, giving support and advice on how to turn a craft hobby into a viable business. Connie will talk about her experience taking part in a national TV series, how mentoring, as well as tips and advice from professional makers has helped her grow her business.

 

The talk will take place on Wednesday 22nd April at Ards Art Centre, 7pm. Q&A session will follow the talk.

 

Tickets are £20 and can be purchased here. Ticket price includes light refreshments.
