Royal Ulster Academy Exhibition 2026: Craft NI Showcase

3 June 2026

Deadline: July 14, 2026

Craft NI is delighted to be invited to curate a small selection of work for inclusion in the Royal Ulster Academy’s 2026 Annual Exhibition. This highly competitive show presents work of an exceptional standard, and our contribution will be shaped through a combination of work from invited makers and from an open call. Submissions should demonstrate a high level of craftsmanship and artistic excellence.

While there is no fixed theme, we encourage makers to explore contemporary interpretations of natural colours and forms, guided by, but not limited by, the colour palette here above – a new or contemporary natural. The aim is to create a cohesive and visually compelling selection of works that resonate with one another, strengthening both individual pieces and the overall presentation.

Deadline for Applications: 14th July 2026
Notification: 21st July 2026
Delivery of Work to Craft NI Gallery: 7th August 2026
Exhibition Opening: 18th October 2026
Close of Exhibition 5th January 2027
Collection of work from Ulster Museum 6th January 2027
