Open Call – Exhibition Opportunity at Linenhall Arts Centre in Co. Mayo

The Linenhall is delighted to announce its bi-annual Open Call which will take place in the Linenhall Gallery between January 2027 and January 2029. The Linenhall accepts submissions via an open call every two years when the selection panel convenes. The panel meets biennially and confirms the schedule two years in advance. The panel will meet in summer 2026 for selection for 2027 and 2028.

Exhibitions typically run for a 5-week period.

Each exhibiting artist will receive a fee of €850 for 2027 and 2028. Exhibitions by two artists will share the same fee.

The Linenhall provides support for exhibiting artists as follows:
● an artists fee of €850 per exhibition
● 1 technician and/or 1 installer for 1 day to assist with installation (additional support may be provided on a case-by-case basis)
● insurance cover
● marketing and publicity throughout the exhibition
● opening reception
● optional artist talk on the closing day of the exhibition (additional fee provided)
