The Ingram Prize is open for applications!

The Ingram Prize is an annual purchase prize open to visual artists who are within five years of graduation from a UK-based art school. This leading prize for contemporary artists was established by The Ingram Collection in 2016 to celebrate and support artists at the beginning of their professional careers.
Recognising the vital importance of practical support in these early years, The Ingram Prize offers opportunities to exhibit and sell work, continuing professional development, and the chance to develop both industry and peer-to-peer networks.
Eligible artists can submit up to two works in any media, with no restrictions on size, and no entry fee. Shortlisted artists will be invited to showcase their entries in a group exhibition at Unit 1 Gallery ǀ Workshop in London, 5 – 11 November 2026.
From this shortlist, a judging panel will choose three Ingram Prize winners, and founder, Chris Ingram, will personally select one further work as the recipient of his Founder’s Award. All winners will be announced at the exhibition opening event on Wednesday, 4 November 2026. All prizewinning works will be acquired for The Ingram Collection, and one prizewinner will be offered a solo exhibition in 2027 at Lightbox Gallery, Woking.
