The Ards and North Down Experience Development Programme 2027 is now open for applications.

Do you have an idea for a standout visitor experience that showcases the best of Ards and North Down?

The Ards and North Down Borough Council Tourism Development Team are seeking innovative and immersive visitor experiences that will encourage visitors to explore, engage with and enjoy Ards and North Down through the themes of food, culture and music.

They want to hear from existing businesses within tourism, and those wishing to diversify into the sector, as to how your idea could create memorable experiences for visitors.

At this stage, the experience does not need to be fully developed. You may already have a great concept but still need key elements developed to bring it to life. For example, you may need a suitable venue, partners to collaborate with, or support to further shape your experience. We are simply looking to understand your initial idea and its potential.

Once the Expression of Interest stage closes, applicants will be invited to a meeting where we will discuss their concept in more detail, explore opportunities for development and collaboration, and consider the potential of the experience.

Places on the programme are limited and only those concepts that demonstrate potential for long-term sustainability will progress, with support offered through to delivery of the pilot.
