Belfast Peer Support Programme – Calling all visual artists across Northern Ireland!
28 October 2026
Deadline: November 18, 2026
Visual Artists Ireland’s Belfast Peer Support Programme returns to The MAC this November, with two days designed to help artists grow their practice and get their work seen. It’s open to all, with a special focus on those working independently or in rural and more isolated parts of the North.
Wednesday 18th November centres on practice and visibility. The day brings a curatorial panel with voices from some of the city’s finest galleries and studios, alongside a keynote talk from renowned painter Hughie O’Donoghue. Artists can also put themselves forward to present their own work, with a €50 fee for presenters. Places are first come, first served, and the deadline is 5th November.
On Thursday 26th November, artists can book one-to-one speed curating sessions with 13 leading curators from across the island. The day ends with an afternoon gallery walk around some of Belfast’s brilliant independent art spaces.
Places are limited, so booking is essential. Get your ticket here.
