Are you considering using Adobe Photoshop for your craft business but need help figuring out where to start? Join us for a special taster session, where you’ll get a hands-on introduction to the basics of Photoshop and see how it can benefit your business! Led by Craft NI Digital Development Officer Katya Buryakova, this session is for those who are new to Photoshop and want to explore its features before committing to purchasing the software.
This session will introduce you to the Adobe Photoshop interface and essential tools. You’ll learn how to:
- Create a new file in Photoshop in the right resolution.
- Navigate through Photoshop
- Use Adjustments and change Brightness, Contrast, Levels, Colour Balance etc.
- Use Layers
- Work with Layer Masks
- Use Selection Tools
- Use the Stamp tool and Clone tool
- Crop your file
- We will try Generative AI
- And learn how to save your file

- Training materials will be sent to participants before the workshop.
