Are you a Creative from the Derry and North West area? Gasyard Centre would like to hear from you.

With support from the Arts Council of Northern Ireland, the Gasyard Development Trust will be delivering another exciting year of Bluebell Arts Community Arts & Empowering the Artist Programme and they want to hear from the incredible creative talent that exists across Derry, the North West and surrounding areas.

Artists, makers and creative facilitators are invited to express their interest in working with Gasyard throughout their 2026–2027 programme.

They are keen to hear from people working across arts & crafts, painting & drawing, pottery & ceramics, puppetry, photography, digital arts, creative writing & poetry, music, drum making, textiles, mixed media, inclusive and sensory arts etc.

“New and emerging artists are very welcome. – You don’t need years of community facilitation experience to get in touch. Through Bluebell Arts, we want to create opportunities not only for experienced facilitators, but also for emerging creatives who are ready to develop their practice, build confidence and gain experience within community arts.”

Opportunities may include paid creative facilitation, artist development and mentoring, training and CPD, support with funding applications and professional development, co-facilitation opportunities, showcases and exhibitions, networking, creative space, podcast and digital storytelling opportunities and support to develop new workshop concepts.

“This is about more than delivering a workshop. We want to build a growing network of local artists, invest in creative talent and create meaningful opportunities for artists to develop alongside our communities.”
