Armagh Borough’s bid to become #UKCityofCulture2025

27 January 2022

The Chair of the Arts Council of Northern Ireland, Liam Hannaway, is urging those working in the creative and cultural sectors to get behind Armagh borough’s bid to become #UKCityofCulture2025.

Excitingly, Armagh City, Banbridge and Craigavon reached the final eight longlisted locations in October. Previous winners of the prestigious title, including Derry-Londonderry in 2013, received significant additional investment within their local arts and culture communities.

Armagh will submit their bid on Wednesday 2nd February, when the judging panel will shortlist the final three cities.
