Artisan Makers Networking Event

Attend an Artisan Makers Networking Event at the Slieve Donard, hosted by Newry, Mourne and Down District Council, Go Succeed and Craft NI, aimed at artisan makers in the district and beyond.
The event will include:
- Advice from Katherine McDonald of Craft NI on the market for Craft in NI.
- Tanya Ireland speaking on her career as a design-led jeweller and independent craft retailer in Co. Down
- Mario Sierra from Mourne Textiles speaking on growing internationally and running a 3rd generation craft business
- Stephen Farnan and Emma McMahon from We Have It Wrapped Up speaking on what’s important to craft retailers with advice for makers who might be seekings stockists or other retail opportunities.
- A facilitated panel discussion with our three speakers – this is your chance to ask questions and gain insights
- Information from Newry, Mourne and Down District Council on support for creative businesses in the district
The event is a perfect opportunity for Makers to network with like-minded businesses, hear from top-class makers, understand the support available to you in the area and get inspired for your future success. Refreshments will be provided, booking is required.
