Calling All Makers & Event Organisers!
Join us for August Craft Month – a summer Celebration of Crafts!
August Craft Month 2026 is now open for applications. This unique celebration of the craft sector provides opportunities for the public to experience, take part in, buy and learn about our local craft makers.
In 2025, there were over 130 events across Northern Ireland with participation from individual makers, networks and collectives, Councils and arts centres
This will be our fifth year partnering with the Design and Crafts Council of Ireland to promote August Craft Month in NI and RoI, sharing audiences and growing support for the crafts.
Makers told us:
“The launch and exhibition was so well attended and it was a great opportunity and to be part of August Craft Month 2025.”
“I also appreciated the contact and support from PR which got me an interview on Q102. This was an incredible opportunity and I am very grateful for that!”
Visitors told us:
“It was absolutely fabulous. Everyone was delightful, patient, kind, encouraging, lovely to my children. We thoroughly enjoyed it.”
