4-Day Throwing Intensive for Beginners & Improvers with Fiona Shannon
About the event
Come along to Flowerfield Arts Centre for this 4-day masterclass where you will learn the basics of throwing on the pottery wheel with Fiona Shannon as well as techniques to refine your work such as trimming bases, adding handles, spouts and textures to your pots.
Please bring a packed lunch, apron and wear clothes that you don’t mind getting dirty. It is advisable to cut your fingernails short for this activity.

Accessibility
Hearing-impaired infra-red system in the auditorium and induction loop at Box Office/reception. Guide dog, Hearing dogs and Registered Assistance Dogs are welcome to the venue, including the auditorium.
Wheelchair access is available throughout the building and auditorium for wheelchair seats/transfers. The centre has a low-level counter at our Box Office and Visitor Information desk.
Adapted toilets on ground floor immediately behind the reception and also on first floor. A lift is available from the ground floor to first floor.
