Forever Foliage Copper Workshop

About the event

Starting at 1pm and finishing at 4pm, come along and join Lake & Oak Coppersmithing and learn the basics of heating, chiselling, filing and texturing copper.

Together with hands on help and guidance from Matthew and Caron, you will form a leaf pattern, adding texture and colour to it using a wide range of techniques. Every participant will come away with a leaf sculpture!

Every workshop participant can have a break in between and enjoy a free coffee/tea and traybakes!

When you learn to work with copper, you are also sowing the seeds for smithing more precious materials like silver and gold. For this reason, a workshop with us is often the beginning of something new, a new passion and skill that will become as valuable to you as the items you create.
